The former F.A. Poth Brewing Company at 31st and Jefferson Streets in Brewerytown is one of the last remaining 19th century brewery structures in Philadelphia and a beautiful example of the Rundbogenstil-style industrial architecture designed by architect Otto C. Wolf.
On January 25, 2018 MMP acquired the historic building and began predevelopment on this amazing structure. The development plan entails a historically accurate redevelopment creating 133 loft apartments, 25,000 square feet of commercial/retail space, tenant amenities and indoor car and bike parking.
The Poth Brewery is an Opportunity Zone transaction that includes Federal Historic Tax Credits.
Construction is slated to be completed in the Spring of 2022.
