Giving Back

since 2001

MMP is honored to be a part of the Brewerytown community since 2001,
when we re-developed 8 vacant shell properties on the 2900 block of W. Girard Avenue.
From day one, MMP has made giving back to the neighborhood a core part of our business.

MMP Maintenance Division is led By Eugene Cooper, who was born, raised and and currently lives in Brewerytown.

The first MMP Project in Brewerytown renovated 8 shell properties on the 2900 block of W. Girard. The General Contractor on the project was a longtime Brewerytown resident.

MMP has supported W.Girard Avenue Street Cleaning for the past 4+ years.

MMP and the Community Partnership School at 31st and Oxford provides discounted units at F.A. Poth Brewing Co. for CPS faculty and subsidized units for CPS families.

MMP’s College Visiting Program in partnership with Jeff Branch and the Branch Family Foundation allows students between 5th and 8th grade at Robert Morris school to visit local college campuses and instill the notion that college is a viable option for all students.

In January 2018, MMP donated new playground equipment + classroom furniture to Robert Morris school.

MMP sponsors Osha Training Courses for Brewerytown residents to receive their OSHA 10 Certificate. The goal of this sponsorship is to create a recurring program that facilitates education, and ultimately job placement, within the construction industry.

The next class is March 21, 2018 at Brewerytown Sharswood NAC located at 3000 Master Street.

MMP sponsors Playworks at the Meade School, located at 1600 N. 18th Street. The organization helps schools create recess and play environments where every child can join in, teaching cooperation and conflict resolution through play.
MMP is a sponsor of Coded By Kids, an organization committed to providing free tech education, tech industry exposure and career mentorship to children who lack access to these opportunities.
MMP also supports the community through sponsoring Toys for Tots, supporting an annual coat drive, providing Thanksgiving meals to those in need, providing backpacks for local students each school year, and sponsoring and coaching Little League.
