The former F.A. Poth Brewing Company at 31st and Jefferson Streets in Brewerytown is one of the last remaining 19th century brewery structures in Philadelphia and a beautiful example of the Rundbogenstil-style industrial architecture designed by architect Otto C. Wolf.
On August 30th, 1871, a deed officially granted Frederick August Poth ownership of a small brewing operation at 31st and Jefferson Streets in Brewerytown. On January 25, 2018 MMP acquired the historic building and began predevelopment on this amazing structure.
The development plan entails a historically accurate redevelopment creating 128 loft apartments, 25,000 square feet of commercial space, tenant amenities and indoor car and bike parking.
Construction will commence in early 2019 and last 26 months.
