Storehouse Lofts is located at 1363 N. 31st in the Brewerytown neighborhood. The largest alteration to the site occurred in 1922, when Arnholt and Schaefer brewery and portions of the Rothaker brewery were demolished and replaced by a multi-story, reinforced concrete building occupying the entire north side of the block between 30th, 31st, Thompson, and Master. It incorporated a brick and concrete addition to the A&S brewery, constructed shortly before Prohibition. This massive industrial building with iron sash windows was erected for the American Stores Co., the parent company of Acme Markets. The latest redevelopment was completed in 2014 and now houses 161 residential units as well as ground floor commercial space.
The pet-friendly community features a mix of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments, along with a variety of amenities. There are 21 unique floor plans, and all units feature energy-efficient stainless steel appliances, loft-style granite countertops, in-unit laundry, vaulted ceilings, rain head shower columns and high-efficiency kitchen appliances.
Residents have access to both a pool deck and dog park on the roof. There are no breed or size restrictions. Other amenities include a full-service 24-hour fitness center, a media/events lounge, a game room on the 2nd floor featuring a pool table, shuffle board, and a large screen TV. The community also offers access to an around-the-clock concierge, 24-hour secure access, indoor parking garage and storage units. Exclusive, high-end conveniences include cold storage for delivery of groceries, on-site retail, plus a business center that will be a part of the second floor amenities.
