The Tower at Henry, nestled in Philadelphia’s East Falls neighborhood, stands as a quintessential example of mid-century modern architecture, originally serving as a hospital. In a collaborative effort, MMP joined forces with New Courtland to transform this structure into a distinctive project that offers a mix of 70% market rate and 30% senior affordable living spaces.
This endeavor breathes new life into a building that had been abandoned for years, overhauling its infrastructure, systems, and window/wall installations to present a contemporary, amenity-rich edifice. Residents can now enjoy expansive views of downtown Philadelphia and the Schuylkill River, thanks to this revitalization.
